I love how the house is always filled with the smell of the spices like cinnamon, nutmeg and the mix spice powder (you see how I replaced allspice to mix spice because it further enhance the flavour of the apple pie) every time I bake an Apple Pie. It's gives the whole house a very warm and inviting feeling. I am wide awake now because I can't wait to add in another recipe into my collection! I just need to remember what exactly did I do before I can type the recipe out! Excited!
The spices used in the mix spice consist of - nutmeg, cinnamon, ginger, allspice (all spice is not mix spice, all spice is made from only ONE type of fruit) & anise star.
